USTR will host a meeting of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade ministers next week In Atlanta. A two-day ministerial meeting will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 1, preceded by chief negotiator meetings Sept. 26-29.

Earlier this week, Japanese trade officials shared their perspective on the state of TPP agricultural market access talks in Nikkei Asian Review. Although these are the same details that have been previously leaked by the Japanese press, it is important to note that none of the information reported in the Japanese media has been confirmed by USTR.
