The Senate and House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittees are expected to markup the FY 2015 agriculture appropriations bill the week of May 19. USMEF members, who represent the breadth of the U.S. red meat industry — are encouraged to remind members of Congress how tremendously successful (and cost-effective) the Market Access Program (MAP) and the Foreign Market Development (FMD) program are in maintaining and expanding U.S. agricultural exports, protecting and creating American jobs, increasing farm income, and offsetting the government-supported advantages afforded our international competitors.

Please contact members of these subcommittees and ask them to support full funding for MAP and FMD.
