Published: Feb 24, 2023

As USMEF's trade mission to Monterrey, Mexico, was wrapping up, participants were interviewed by ag radio networks about their experience and given the opportunity to share observations about how U.S. red meat is marketed and merchandised in the region.

Todd Hanten, a fourth-generation farmer and cattle feeder from Goodwin, S.D., and a member of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Board, shared his thoughts with Keith Lundberg, farm director for WNAX Radio in Yankton, S.D.

Todd Hanten and Keith Miller were both interviewed by Meghan Grebner of Brownfield Ag News, offering observations about the potential for further growth in red meat exports to Mexico and how this will bolster the bottom line for U.S. producers.
