Media Registration Details for USMEF Spring Conference, May 22-24 in Kansas City

Media registration is available for the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) Spring Conference, which will be held May 22-24 in Kansas City, Mo.

Peter Zeihan, the critically acclaimed author of The Accidental Superpower and The Absent Superpower will keynote the opening session on Wednesday, May 22. Ted McKinney, USDA under secretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs, has been confirmed as the general session speaker for Thursday morning, May 23. At Friday’s closing business session, a panel discussion will focus on the trade implications of African swine fever.

To open the week, USMEF’s regular press conference/media conference call will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. local time). Panelists will include USMEF President and CEO Dan Halstrom and senior staff from USMEF’s international offices. Call-in details will be distributed in advance.
