U.S. Red Meat Focus of Trade Seminar in Shanghai

USMEF conducted a U.S. red meat trade seminar for customers of the JiangYang Wholesale Market, one of the most important distribution centers of imported food – including U.S. beef and pork – in Shanghai and the surrounding area.

Funded by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program (ATP), the National Pork Board and the Beef Checkoff Program, the event was intended to educate traders on how to better use and promote specific U.S. red meat cuts.

A short video summary of the seminar can be seen here.

More than 120 meat traders, wholesalers and foodservice operators from China attended, along with a dozen USMEF member packing companies.
