Consumer Trends Front-and-Center at World Meat Congress, May 31-June 1 in Dallas

Jeff Fromm, president of FutureCast, will deliver the keynote address at the World Meat Congress (WMC) on Friday, June 1. Specializing in modern consumer trends, marketing concepts and innovation, Fromm and his FutureCast team apply Millennial and Generation Z marketing and sales best practices for many Fortune 100 brands, advising industries on how to meet the changing needs of today’s consumers more proactively and efficiently. Fromm is co-author of three books: Marketing to Millennials, Millennials with Kids and Marketing to Gen Z. He is also a contributing writer at Forbes.com.

Consumer trends and marketing challenges will also be front-and-center at the WMC’s Tomorrow’s Consumer – Are You Ready? session. Panelists include:

  • Wei Wang, CEO and founder of FruitDay, one of China’s largest online fresh food retailers.
  • Pol Moragas, deputy secretary general of Spain’s Business Federation of Meats and Meat Industries (FECIC), who will discuss the results of FECIC’s recent consumer attitudes study.
  • Michael Uetz, managing principal of Midan Marketing, a full-service marketing firm dedicated to serving meat industry clients.

The WMC will be held May 31-June 1 in Dallas. As previously announced, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue will be a featured speaker at Thursday’s opening session.
