New Orleans Cold Storage (NOCS) has announced that it intends to more than double the size of its existing storage space at the Port of Charleston, S.C. NOCS will break ground on the project next month. The expansion, which is expected to be completed and operational early in the first quarter of 2015, will increase the facility’s storage space by 150 percent and double its blast freezing capacity.
