This week U.S. beef gained full access to two African destinations. Benin was already open to boneless beef cuts, but now all U.S. beef and beef products are eligible. Kenya closed to U.S. beef following the 2003 BSE case, but is now fully open.
Exporters are reminded that U.S. beef also recently regained access to South Africa, which we detailed in the Jan. 22 Export Newsline.
