Brief Export Results Summary

JANUARY-NOVEMBER 2020 EXPORT RESULTS FOR BEEF, PORK AND LAMB

  • Beef – Down 6% in volume (1.13 million mt) and 7% lower in value ($6.9 billion) compared to the first 11 months of 2019.

  • Pork – Up 14% in volume (2.72 million mt) and 13% in value ($7.03 billion). Both are already new annual records.

  • Lamb – Volume up 29% to 18,652 mt, but value declined 8% to $21.9 million.


FINAL 2019 EXPORT RESULTS FOR BEEF, PORK AND LAMB

  • Beef – Down 2.5% in volume (1.32 million mt) and 3% lower in value ($8.1 billion) compared to 2018.

  • Pork – Up 10% in volume (2.67 million mt) and 9% higher in value ($6.95 billion) – both are new records.

  • Lamb – Volume up 22% to 15,732 mt, value increased 12% to $26.1 million.
