JANUARY-MAY 2021 EXPORT RESULTS FOR BEEF, PORK AND LAMB

  • Beef – Up 5% in volume (454,398 mt) and 10% higher in value ($2.93 billion) compared to January-May 2020.
    May exports set a new volume and value records.

  • Pork – Down slightly in volume (1.34 million mt, -1%) but 3% higher in value ($3.63 billion).
    May exports set a new value record and volume was third largest on record.

  • Lamb – Volume up 53% to 5,733 mt, while value increased 16% to $7.43 million.


FINAL 2020 EXPORT RESULTS FOR BEEF, PORK AND LAMB

  • Beef – Down 5% in both volume (1.25 million mt) and value ($7.65 billion) compared to 2019.

  • Pork – Up 11% in both volume (2.98 million mt) and value ($7.71 billion) over the previous records reached in 2019.

  • Lamb – Volume down 18% to a 12,890 mt, value down 34% to $17.3 million.
