USMEF Chairman Mark Jagels recently became the 80th member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) Block and Bridle Hall of Fame. Jagels was honored by the Block and Bridle Club and the Department of Animal Science at a banquet held May 4 in Lincoln.

Jagels is a 1984 UNL graduate, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Economics. Along with his wife Suzanne, he runs a diversified farming operation near Davenport, Nebraska, that includes corn and soybean production, a cow/calf operation, cattle feeding and a trucking business.
