On June 13, more than 30 meat buyers, distributors and other executives from Hannan Foods Group and its affiliate companies visited USMEF’s Denver headquarters as part of a weeklong business development tour. Hannan Foods Group is one of Japan’s largest meat importing and processing organizations with international affiliates in the U.S., China, South Korea and Australia. The delegation included Hannan executives from regional offices throughout Japan as well as representatives of some of its key customers.
Earlier in the week, the team toured processing plants in Iowa and Colorado, as well as a cattle feeding operation. They also visited several retail outlets to gather information on merchandising techniques.
