Just as the US has imposed the so-called “24 hour rule” for advanced document submission for cargo destined to the US, and the EU has developed its own advance notice impacting our exports to Europe, and China has done the same for exports destined to China, Japan is now developing its own  Advanced Export Documentation Filing program.
