USMEF Visit to Illinois Soybean

While in central Illinois, Chad Russell (center), USMEF regional director for Mexico, Central America and the Dominican Republic, was joined this week by John Hinners (2nd from left), USMEF assistant VP for industry relations, in a briefing for Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) staff and leadership on a multi-year consumer pork project in Mexico that USMEF is conducting with Illinois Soybean Checkoff funding. While in central Illinois, Russell and Hinners also met with Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Corn Marketing Board, Illinois Pork Producers Association and the United Soybean Board. “This visit was a great opportunity to meet with our members and farmers in Illinois and get an update on marketing conditions and agriculture issues throughout the state,” said Russell.
