TPP Agreement Reached; Full Text Available in 30 Days

On Oct. 5, trade ministers from the 12 participating Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) countries – the United States, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam – announced a successful conclusion to their negotiations.

U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman said the full text of the agreement will be available to the public in about 30 days. A brief summary of the agreement is posted on the USTR website, while USDA posted the following fact sheets regarding the TPP’s impact on agricultural trade:
