Obama Administration Releases 2016 Trade Policy Agenda

On March 2, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) released President Obama’s 2016 Trade Policy Agenda. More details from the report are also available in this USTR news release.

The report places a heavy emphasis on the potential benefits of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the need to complete Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations with the European Union, but also discusses efforts to enhance trade in other regions.
