Nippon Ham Sales Contest Winners Visit USMEF
A group of sales representatives from the Nippon Meat Packers group of companies visited USMEF headquarters in Denver this week. The team was made up of winners of a recent U.S. beef sales competition, with four contest winners from Nippon Ham and two from its distribution subsidiary, Nihon Food.

They discussed USMEF market development activities in Japan with senior USMEF staff, received an update on the possible expansion of market access for U.S. beef and learned details of the U.S. beef industry’s quality grading system. Nippon Ham is the largest ham and sausage manufacturer and distributor in Japan and a major importer of U.S. beef and pork.
