USMEF President and CEO Philip Seng is interviewed by James Hunt, agribusiness director for KGNC Radio in Amarillo, Texas, at NAFB Trade Talk

USMEF participated in the annual National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) convention in Kansas City this week, discussing the outlook for red meat exports, implications of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement and other key issues with dozens of reporters and news anchors from across the nation.

During the convention’s “Trade Talk” event, USMEF President and CEO Philip Seng conducted numerous radio and television interviews, including several live segments. He was accompanied by Joe Schuele, USMEF vice president of communications.

“USMEF values its relationship with NAFB, and Trade Talk is a very important event for us,” Seng said. “It’s an exceptional opportunity to speak to the thousands of producers who support USMEF and reinforce the importance of meat exports to the U.S. agricultural economy.”
