Key speakers include Scott Aughenbaugh, deputy director of strategic futures at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and Jim McKenna, president and CEO of the Pacific Maritime Association. Scott will focus on seven key factors — demographics, resource management, computing, data/information growth, social media, effects of economic integration and emerging security challenges – used to forecast global trends. Jim will discuss current strategies being utilized to ensure smooth and efficient West Coast port operations in the future. In addition, you will hear from USMEF’s in-country international directors on current trends, programs and market opportunities.
