Registration Deadlines Approaching for USMEF Spring Conference and World Meat Congress

Register now to attend the USMEF Spring Conference and World Meat Congress (WMC) taking place May 30-June 1 in Dallas. This year, USMEF’s Spring Conference will be held in conjunction with the WMC. Hosted by USMEF for the first time in more than 20 years, the WMC is a biennial event that provides a unique opportunity for an exchange of ideas and experiences on key issues affecting the international meat and livestock sectors. More than 700 attendees representing 30 nations are expected to participate.

USMEF’s program will take place Wednesday, May 30 with the exporter, beef, pork and feedgrain/oilseed meetings. USMEF’s international directors will discuss market conditions in major export destinations and members will receive updates on key market access issues.

Following USMEF’s meetings, the WMC will kick off Thursday with a keynote address by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, who will share his insights on the Trump administration’s philosophy on trade and its approach to trade agreement negotiations.

Friday’s keynote presenter is Jeff Fromm, president of FutureCast, which specializes in modern consumer trends, marketing concepts and innovation. Fromm advises many industries on how to meet the changing needs of today’s consumers more proactively and efficiently. Fromm and his FutureCast team apply Millennial and Generation Z marketing and sales best practices for many Fortune 100 brands. He is also a contributing writer at Forbes.com.
