Deadlines Fast Approaching for USMEF’s Board of Directors Meeting

Deadlines are fast approaching for USMEF’s Board of Directors Meeting, May 25-27 in St. Louis:

  • Early Bird Registration Deadline — Friday, April 22
  • Hotel Reservation Cut-Off — Friday, April 29

The lineup of speakers in St. Louis will include:

  • Jonathan Cordone, who was recently appointed USDA deputy under secretary for farm and foreign agricultural services
  • Jesus Madrazo, vice president of corporate engagement for Monsanto
  • Richard Fordyce, director, Missouri Department of Agriculture

Specific topics of interest include the importance of gaining congressional approval for the Trans-Pacific Partnership and how Russia’s reduced role as a meat importer has impacted pork and beef trade across the globe. USMEF leadership and staff will also provide in-depth insights on global market conditions and key trade issues.
