Caribbean and Central America Export Briefing

Members attending the Americas Food & Beverage Show in Miami next week are invited to a USMEF-USDEC-USAPEEC exporter members-only briefing and update directly after the tradeshow. The update will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, in Hall A of the convention center.

Agricultural trade offices and U.S. Embassy representatives from the Caribbean and Central America will update the political, economic and trade situations in their regions followed by new U.S. pork and beef research cut opportunities presented by USMEF Export Services Director Kevin Smith. Smith’s presentation will feature four-way chuck roll and clod heart, pork finger, knuckle, loin-end, CT butt-BP, sirloin and cushion.

Members who plan to attend should email USMEF-Caribbean representative Liz Wunderlich (wunderlc@hctc.net) with the number of company employees planning to attend.
