USMEF provides tools to break into new markets or expand the business in existing markets. These resources include information about animal health and disease issues, an updated list of U.S. red meat suppliers, help to navigate the intricate requirements of the USDA and importing countries, the Branded Products Program and the International Meat Manual. USMEF’s Exporter Alerts apprise members of changes to export regulations and warnings about specific documentation problems, and are e-mailed to members as they occur. The Guidelines for Exporting to Individual Countries also contain information on the various beef export verification programs and help with bilingual labeling requirements.
