Continuing Resolution Approved; Operations Funded through Dec. 11

On Thursday evening, the U.S. Senate passed (on a 73-22 vote) a continuing resolution that will fund federal government operations through Dec. 11. The House approved the legislation on Wednesday by a vote of 319-108, so it now goes to President Obama for his signature.

The USDA Market Access Program (MAP) and Foreign Market Development (FMD) program are fully funded at their annual authorized levels of $200 million and $34.5 million, respectively.
