Colorado Corn Supports Beef Grading Research

More than 500 livestock producers attending this week’s joint convention of the Colorado Livestock Association and the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association learned about an important beef grading research project that will provide momentum for U.S. beef exports.

Partially funded by the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee and conducted through Colorado State University, the project examines the beef grading system utilized by USDA and compares it with those employed by some of the U.S. beef industry’s biggest global competitors. Learn more about the project in the May 2013 edition of the Colorado Corn newsletter.
