To assist U.S. exporters serving the People’s Republic of China, USMEF has created an updated bilingual Chinese labeling guide. This is one of the guidance documents available on USMEF’s Guidelines for Exporting to Individual Countries webpage.
Since early November, nine pork processing plants and eight cold storage facilities have regained eligibility to export to China, which has helped bolster U.S. exports. December pork/pork variety meat exports to the China/Hong Kong region were the largest in nearly two years at 33,691 metric tons, up 27 percent compared to December 2014.
Exporters with questions about the labeling guide or other export requirements for China may email Travis Arp or call 303-623-6328.
