Antimicrobial Treatments Added to Approved List for Beef to Japan

This week the FSIS Export Library for Japan was updated to allow for the use of additional antimicrobial treatments for beef. Hypobromous acid water and acidified sodium chlorite were added to the list of approved beef antimicrobial treatments for U.S. beef destined for Japan.
